Hidden in Plain Sight: Portraits of Hunger in NYC

to
Center for Brooklyn History
This exhibition was originally organized and published by the Brooklyn Historical Society.

Brooklyn-based photojournalist Joey O'Loughlin spent over two years documenting soup kitchens and food pantries throughout the five boroughs.

She displayed these photographs, part of a collaboration with Food Bank For New York City, in an exhibition at Brooklyn Historical Society. O'Loughlin focused her lens on workers, clients, recipients, distribution, and meals.
