Action Rhyme: Five Little Pumpkins

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate	Hold up five fingers on one hand
The first one said, "Oh my, it's getting late!"	Fold fingers down and hold up one
The second one said, "There are witches in the air!"	Hold up a second finger
The third one said, "But we don’t care!"	Hold up a third finger
The fourth one said, "It's time to have some fun!"	Hold up a fourth finger
The fifth one said, "Let's run and run and run!"	Hold up a fifth finger
But "Woo-oo-oo" went the wind,	Whistle like the wind
And OUT went the light,	Clap hands loudly
And the five little pumpkins	Hold up five fingers on one hand
Rolled right out of sight!	Roll hands over each other quickly

When the leaves are on the ground	Pat the ground by your feet
Instead of on the trees,
I like to make a pile of them	Pretend to make a pile of leaves
Way up to my knees.	Tap your knees
I like to run and jump in them	Hop up from the ground
And kick them all around.	Pretend to kick leaves
I like the prickly feel of them	Rub hands together
And their crinkly, crackly sound.
