SENIOR ASSISTANTS ARE THE HEART AND SOUL OF BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY’S SERVICE TO THE AGING PROGRAM
The Senior Assistants plan, develop, and present programs in branches of the library, and senior sites throughout Brooklyn. They are dedicated to providing the culturally-diverse seniors of Brooklyn with arts, cultural, educational and lifestyle programs which enhance their lives.
“We are a senior-driven program, our Senior Assistants know first hand the concerns of seniors. I am proud to say that after more than thirty years, the Service to the Aging Program continues to meet their ever-changing needs.”
- Jo Ann Radioli, Manager - Service to the Aging
