Williamsburg is and perhaps always has been one of Brooklyn's most diverse neighborhoods.
Thanks to the National Endowment for the Humanities and several other generous supporters,
Brooklyn Public Library established the Fund for Brooklyn History, an endowment designed to
bring Brooklyn's colorful history to Library patrons. Williamsburg, Brooklyn: A Walking Tour is an important
part of that gift, and an intelligent and affectionate introduction to one of Brooklyn's most stimulating
neighborhoods. Conceived and Written by Norman Oder, Narrated by Leonard Lopate.
