400 Years Later after school kids create


Use art supplies and a dash of imagination to design and construct your own African Mask. Workshop limited to 15 participants, ages 5 and up (no exceptions).

This program is part of Brooklyn Public Library's 1619: 400 Years Later series marking the 400th year since enslaved Africans were brought to the United States. Through this series, we hope to commemorate and celebrate the lives of the the millions of enslaved Africans whose labor, creativity and endurance have contributed greatly to the prosperity of this great nation.
