Asian Heritage Photography Exhibition - "About Us" by Bonita Lei
Please join us for a free photography exhibit, About Us: Celebrating Asian Month, Cherishing Our Community, featuring the photography of Bonita Lei, who has spent three decades documenting Asian-American lives in New York City and the United States. Lei's work captures jubilant moments of Asian Americans celebrating traditional holidays and Asian youths romancing futures of wonders. But her work also illuminates the unsettled lives of elderly Asians and newcomers undergoing physical hardship and/or facing social-political trauma as immigration rules tighten under the current administration.
