Culture Pass

This virtual tour and guided conversation of The Frick Collection will begin with visitors’ most frequently asked questions: “Who was Henry Clay Frick? How did he become so wealthy? And how was he able to put together the collection?” Rory Tyler, an educator at The Frick Collection since 2012, will introduce the Fricks, build the house, and explore the legacy that today is The Frick Collection.

Rory Tyler has been an educator at The Frick Collection since 2012. He was educated at The New School, Parsons, and Columbia University, and his area of expertise is 18th-century decorative arts with a concentration on European porcelain.

Culture Pass is supported by generous funding from The New York Community Trust, Charles H. Revson Foundation, Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
