The Sunset Park Library, in partnership with El Grito, is proud to present the History of the Puerto Ricans in the United States as part of the Puerto Rican Heritage Cultural Ambassador Program (PRHCAP).

The program continues with a screening of the documentary on Clemente Soto Velez  (1905 – April 15, 1993), a Puerto Rican nationalist, poet, journalist and activist who mentored many generations of artists in Puerto Rico and New York City.

All are welcome.

This program has been postponed til August 14, 2019

 El Grito, a 501c3 non-profit, in partnership with the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College called the Puerto Rican Heritage Cultural Ambassador Program.
