We’ll discuss:

· the difference between a traditional IRA and a Roth IRA

· how to open an account

· what is a Rollover IRA

· how to invest in a Roth IRA even if you are over the income limit

· what is a conversion and when you may want to consider it

Note: This class will not address other types of retirement plans, except to explain what you can do with a former employer plan (rollover IRA)

 

Stephanie Genkin, CFP®, CDFA®, CDS™, BFA™ is an independent fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She is the founder of My Financial Planner, LLC a New York State Registered Investment Advisor based in Brooklyn.
