Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library is an ideal location for film, television and professional photography. From its 50-foot high entry portico adorned with Art Deco detailing by sculptors Thomas Hudson Jones and Carl P. Jennewein, its iconic bronze sculptures of famous characters and personages from American literature to its fully wood-paneled offices and Trustees Room, BPL is the perfect setting for television, movie and still photography shoots.
In addition to Central Library, BPL also offers 59 locations throughout the borough, ranging from one-story "Lindsay box libraries" to historic Carnegie buildings.
