Weddings at Park Slope Library

Park Slope Library

Built in 1906, this Andrew Carnegie-funded, two-story, Classical Revival building has a projecting center entrance with four Doric columns supporting a stone pediment. The gable-ended sides of the brick building are faced with limestone, with formal classical pediments.

Inside, the branch is a marvel of early twentieth-century elegance, with amber stained-glass archways and vaulted ceilings, freestanding ash columns and a pair of tiled, frieze-clad fireplaces. Park Slope's unique layout offers a variety of arrangements from intimate weddings for up to 100 guests with dinner & dancing, to strolling receptions for 250 guests. This location is also fully wheelchair accessible.

Conveniently located in one of Brooklyn’s premier neighborhoods, Park Slope Library is available on Fridays after 6pm, Saturdays after 5pm and Sundays after 12pm. All private events require 90 minutes for set-up and 90 minutes for breakdown.

Park Slope Library's rental fee is a flat $5,000 for eight hours of rental time and must include a total of three hours for setup and breakdown time. Hourly rates are available for shorter rental times and are setup dependent.  Catering, rentals, lighting, entertainment, & any additional wedding elements are seperate and additional.
