Stories Bookshop + Storytelling Lab is thrilled to partner with the Brooklyn Public Library for an incredible evening for Brooklyn families with Chelsea Clinton, to celebrate the publication of her new picture book, She Persisted Around the World: 13 Women Who Changed History. Chelsea Clinton will be reading and in conversation with illustrator Alexandra Boiger, along with their editor, Jill Santopolo. This is an all-ages event, and both Chelsea Clinton and Alexandra Boiger will be signing their books.

She Persisted Around the World: 13 Women Who Changed History is a companion to Chelsea Clinton and Alexandra Boiger’s #1 New York Times bestselling picture book, She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World. She Persisted Around the World celebrates 13 women from around the world who have used their voices and determination to create change and shape history. Women in the book include Marie Curie, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Viola Desmond, Sissi Lima do Amor, Leymah Gbowee, Caroline Herschel, Wangari Maathai, Aisha Rateb, J.K.
