Brooklyn Public Library’s 59 branches are welcoming places for everyone who walks through our doors.
Together, we asked City Leaders to increase their investment in our libraries, and they did!
It's official: City Leaders adopted the fiscal year 2019 budget, and it includes $76.7 million in new funding for libraries across New York City!
The increased funds will help expand collections, keep six day-a-week service and maintain welcoming spaces for everyone.
If you love your local library, it’s time to speak up for it.
ADD YOUR VOICE: Send a letter thanking City Leaders for funding the libraries we all rely on and love!
