all ages creative writing poetry

Our featured poet for October is Rae the Poet.

Rae is originally from Bensonhurst, but I now lives in Harlem. Rae says it is such an honor to be a part of the poetry community at The Park Slope Library. She looks forward to contributing her art style to the platform created for those who attend. She describes her poetry as honest and gritty. The descriptive portrayal of her journey and her colorful wordplay are meant to capture attention and inspire others to create with freedom. She wants others to feel my expression of art and remember her words in their hearts and minds. During her debuting year she's had the pleasure to perform at various venues, perform as a featured poet and currently she is featured poet in a published anthology series titled "United: Volume Red", put together by Beautiful Minds Unite, LLC.She thanks everyone involved for this opportunity to share and express her work.
