Everyone in Brooklyn has a story and the

Midwood Library wants to help you preserve your memories and heritage! Stop by with your old photos or papers and have them digitized for free! Our scanner can accommodate:

  • Photographs or drawings
  • Manuscripts, diaries, news clippings
  • Tickets, menus, or other physical ephemera

A staff member will scan them for you and save them to your email or USB drive. We also offer basic image editing to remove blotches or fix color balance.

First-come, first served.

Note: Please do not bring documents with sensitive personal information. Our library has a public copier and scanner if you need to scan your passport or ID.
