Planned Parenthood: Narcan Training and Free Narcan Distribution
Project Street Beat from Planned Parenthood of NYC will be at the Williamsburgh Library to provide free training in the use of Narcan and will give out free Narcan kits. Narcan is the first and only FDA-approved nasal form of naloxone for the emergency treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose.
They will also have Safer Sex kits available for distribution, and will be able to provide information about all the services provided by Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood provides confidential, non-judgmental services to people of all genders. Their services are available regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.
This workshop is also being offered at the Williamsburgh Library on November 19, 2-4 pm
